Last week I made the promise to myself ( and shared with any of you that care to read) to start training to run a marathon in Oct. So how did it go the first week? That depends on how you look at it. For one, I ran/walked only 5 out of 7 days for a total of only 14 miles. Or you could look at it as “Hey I ran/walked 5 out of 7 days for a total of 14 miles!! “
I figure it’s a start. It is a struggle I won’t lie. My goal right now is to run without walking the 4 mile path I have been currently taking. I am not really concerned with speed right now (ok maybe a little) I just really want to run & not walk.
So there you have it. First week down.
